Foundations believes in the whole child approach to learning. Our environments are carefully designed and changed to meet the children's needs. We believe that children learn when concepts are taught with the many learning styles in mind. A mix of child-directed and teacher-directed activities are planned throughout the day to introduce and extend on vocabulary and concepts. Our literacy-rich curriculum allows children extensive interaction with books and pre-reading and writing materials.
Introductory Spanish focusing on basic and familiar words. Students from the LBHS Spanish Honor Society work with our VPK children each week for this learning experience.
A cooperative program with the ELC of Sarasota County that pairs children with a "buddy" who will provide books based on the child's interests.

"Bringing my children to this preschool is one of the best things I could have done for them. Airyanna and Seairra love going to school. Airyanna is doing her ABC's and counting, even Seairra sings her ABC's! They are learning about God which is very important for them. I am amazed at how much they learn. They love their teachers, and if they would go to school 7 days a week, mine would! I also love the fact that the teachers can have some one-on-one with the kids."
